| A Pretty Pillow I made this pillow freestyle. It involves ribbon, swirlly blue fabric (same as the one I used on the Swirlly Blue Handbag), a cool blue button, and blue sheer fabric. Oh, and of course, a sewing machine and associated notions. I had envisioned redecorating the whole bedroom with pillows like this -- I went so far as to make two shams for the bed, but I just couldn't stop thinking about how nasty pillows can get: drool, hair, scalp, etc. Sure, I know you can wash pillow cases, but I didn't want to get them yucky, so I put them off the the side where they don't get much use, instead. |
