| The Creative Merchandiser redesign. The Creative Merchandiser is Haddon House's sales magazine, and has been published since 1994. This cover, July/August 1999, was the first of the redesigned Creative Merchandiser covers. Its predecessor was visually chaotic and we wanted to do something very clean and modern. I designed the masthead and worked closely with our in-house digital photographer to capture the cover shot.
Even though this cover is now a few years old, and the magazine has undergone
another transformation recently, I'm very proud of this work. Weeks of thought and planning went into it, and gleefully so: it represented
freedom from the old regime!
Note: I have been writing the editorial for the Creative Merchandiser since 1998. I cover a variety of food topics, and have a column called Organic Living.
