Again, sorry Jim (former owner), but we didn't care for the kitchen cabinets and backsplash. Maybe in another house they'd look nice; but our kitchen is on the small side, and the dark wood and off-white backsplash really made the room dismal. So we painted the cupboards. And one weekend while Glen was away, I thought I'd be able to pull off a quickie mosaic backsplash. Delusional. It took closer to a week: many, many, many hours went into it, and really, it's still not quite done! I need to do another grouting to make it even. I installed the under-the-cabinet lights myself too. Some prior knowledge of electricity would have been good, but I got 'em up there! They wires are now properly trimmed and tacked. Well, all except the last one, which I'll do soon!
