| Glitter Lampswitch Plate Another present for my niece. Please don't tell her! I got the idea from The Crafty Chica, one of the best craft sites I've seen. I had no idea there were so many types of glitter out there. For this, I used a relatively fine glitter (not super powdery, but not the kid stuff, either), and after it dried, I shot it a few times with an acrylic sealer, which keeps it shiny, and keeps the glitter from falling off, all over the floor. After I finished this project, I bought several other types of glitter...a lot of it like fine, shimmery sand. Not sure what I'm going to do with it all yet, but I'm sure I'll update the web site soon enough with the results. |
